Midnight Loop

The Moonlight Loop is a leisurely 19 mile evening bike ride thru Columbus, Indiana. The proceeds benefit the Columbus Animal Care Services' Spay/Neuter fund which provides low-cost spay/neuter services to pet owners in the community.

The ride begins and ends at the Plaza in front of the Bartholomew County Library. There is a SAG stop approximately half-way through the ride, where the riders grab a snack/take a restroom break & gather before resuming the back half of the ride.

Safety is a top concern. There will be a Police escort leading the riders and Police assistance at major instersections, as well as SAG vehicles and volunteers out on the route to assist riders. Riders under 16 yrs old must be accompanied by an adult. All participants must wear a helmet and have both a headlight and taillight on their bikes.

You can also participate in our "Light Up the Night" contest by decorating your bike (& yourself) with lights. And ice cream treats will be waiting for everyone at the finish line!
