Hot Tamale Bicycle Tour

The Hot Tamale is a beautiful, relatively flat ride in north central Ohio. We're making plans and will update this site once we have everything figured out. This will be a loop on quiet farm roads near Waldo. There won’t be any snack stops on the route, but we'll have snacks at the end.

  • 18 mile route: This will have one snack stop/bathroom break.
  • 25 mile route: This will take you across the Kings Mill covered bridge, and we’re planning on two snack stops.
  • 41 mile route: This route is planned to start out the same as the 62 mile route, but with a shortcut. There will be two snack stops.
  • 62 mile metric century route: This relatively flat route (796 feet of climbing) will lead you across the “twin bridges” over the Olentangy River, past the Kings Mill Covered Bridge. It will include two snack stops and a portion of the Tallgrass Trail.

Where's Waldo? -The ride begins in the Waldo Community Park in Waldo, Ohio. Waldo is on US Route 23, between Delaware and Marion, Ohio. If entering Waldo from Rt. 23, turn left at the BP station and right at G & R restaurant. The park is about 1/2 mile ahead on the left. Just follow the signs!
